It has been a while since I have felt the need to rant about something, but I'm definitely ready. What the HELL is wrong with the entire world and all this antibacterial bullshit? When did everyone become such a little bitch-ass slave to their fear of bacteria?!!!
EVERYWHERE you turn there is some reminder of this horrible fad. As I type this there is a commercial playing for a mop that claims to be better then other mops because its disposable mop heads don't retain bacteria like scary old school mops that "push bacteria around your floor", ooooh nooo. And what is up with these stupid ads for home soap dispensers that use sensors to dispense the soap so you don't have to touch the "dirty bacteria filled pump". HOW MANY YEARS HAS THE PLANET SURVIVED TOUCHING THEIR SOAP DISPENSERS?!!!! Plenty. PUH-LEASE. I saw a news story the other night cautioning parents to stop bathing their babies in the bathtub and to absolutely not give them toys to play with because of "all the dangers of bacteria" making it out to be like your going to kill your baby. Who hasn't been a kid in the tub chillin with your toys and having a great time??? OH that's right, everyone ever has done that!
I feel very strongly about all this. The human body reacts and adapts itself to what it knows. It is honestly important to be exposed to these things to build a healthy immune system. Where will all this bacteria phobia end? I can't take much more of it. If they lady on Hoarders can eat rotting and expired food and her body adapted to that, and she doesn't even get sick from it, I think everyone can touch their damn soap dispensers.
You know what makes me sick? All of that shit, not bacteria.
I completely agree with this. HOWEVER>>>> That vile creature that was featured on Hoarders should never be mentioned in any sentence pertaining to health. Now excuse me while i take a bath and risk my health haha
